For the moment, the servers of Among us are down, leaving players unable to enjoy the popular multiplayer title. While this is disheartening for fans of the game, Among us is under scheduled maintenance and developer InnerSloth provided an update on downtime. Fixes are currently underway which should make the experience more enjoyable once Among us is operational again. The game’s official Twitter account has also been updated to reflect this, with “Repair Servers” added to the game’s handle. In the meantime, InnerSloth is encouraging fans to enjoy the start of the fall season!

“And yes, the servers are still down, sorry! Fixes are underway, so brace yourself and enjoy the teammates freaking out over the orange leaves,” InnerSloth wrote on Twitter.

This Tweet followed a new piece of art, where teammates in the game could be seen “enjoying” the changing colors of the season. Of course, fall also means Halloween is almost here, and officially Among us the costumes were unveiled earlier this month. The costumes quickly sold out online, but InnerSloth is working to make more available.

Hopefully fans won’t wait any longer for the game’s servers to be back online! Among us has become a huge success over the past year, developing a large and passionate fan base. Despite this success, InnerSloth is still a very small developer, and in-game changes are taking a lot longer than they could for other big titles online. Fans of the game seem fairly understanding about this, and most of the responses to the developer’s latest Tweet have been pretty light. For now, fans will just have to wait patiently. Among us to come back online!

Among us is currently available on iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game will be released soon on PlayStation and Xbox. You can check out all of our previous coverage of the game here.
