New constructions: the developer organizes a sale in two cities
One of Scotland’s largest homebuilders has released two show homes simultaneously for house hunters looking to buy in the country’s two biggest cities.
Miller Homes rarely has two show properties available for sale at the same time, but now has one located eight miles west of Glasgow and another at the southern end of the capital – and both are fully decorated , with high-end fittings and accessories.
The four-bedroom grant is a detached villa available in Miller Homes’ Edgelaw development near the Edinburgh bypass.
The show home was professionally landscaped, city-inspired by interior designer Graeme Fuller, and covers an impressive 1,346 square feet of floor space.
Downstairs is a spacious formal living room with a south-facing bay window, which ensures the room is filled with daylight.
Across the hall is a dedicated study or office space, and a WC and storage space are also found on this level.
At the back of the main floor is the heart of the house, an open kitchen, dining room and family area. It could form an ideal center for relaxing or entertaining with elegant French doors opening onto a landscaped rear garden as well as double doors onto the house type living room.
A separate utility room also gives access to the driveway where there is a separate garage.
Upstairs, the Grant’s master bedroom is generously sized and has a large built-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. With the other three bedrooms also doubles, this property, priced at £444,995, would make an ideal home for growing families and those looking to expand.
In Clydebank, west Glasgow, Miller’s Urquhart Mid three-bedroom show home has been decorated by Eileen Kesson of Envision and pays homage to the town’s industrial heritage, using the rich history of shipyards with work contemporary dark brickwork giving the homes a unique look and feel.
Inside the home, Kesson encapsulated Hollywood glamor with statement mirrors, bold light fixtures, oversized vases and contemporary accessories to give this home the wow factor, all brought together by striking wallpaper and accents. abstract artwork, creating a unique identity throughout the property.
There is a characteristic awning over the entrance and a separate kitchen at the front of the ground floor. The open plan dining and living room on this level has double doors to the garden and upstairs the master bedroom has fitted wardrobes.
The third bedroom would be suitable as a dormitory for the children or as a home office.
The family bathroom is fitted with white Ideal Standard sanitary ware and Porcelanosa tiles.
Miller Homes Scotland Managing Director Peter Thomson is delighted to share these show homes with buyers: “These show homes are located in two of Scotland’s most popular areas, offering buyers the rare chance to move into professionally decorated homes in walk-in condition.”
“Edgelaw and Millerbank are two fantastic communities that are popular with buyers, so we expect demand for these show homes to be very high and encourage buyers to act quickly while the show homes are available.”
On Lasswade Road in Edinburgh, the Edgelaw development offers a selection of three, four and five bedroom homes, while Millerbank is a new area of energy efficient three bedroom homes in the heart of Clydebank.
Both properties will be available to move into next summer.
