New Hampshire State Police Expands Use of Iteris Commercial Vehicle Operations SaaS Solutions to Improve Safety and Mobility Statewide

SANTA ANA, Calif .– (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Iteris, Inc., the global leader in intelligent mobility infrastructure management, today announced a new extended contract with the New Hampshire Department of Safety, Division of State Police (NHSP) for operating software commercial vehicles (CVOs) of Iterisolutions as a service (SaaS).

Under the terms of the multi-year SaaS contract, Iteris will extend the use of Iteris Inspect â„¢ by the NHSP for an additional five years and provide its CVIEW-Plus â„¢ data services to support the state’s objectives of achieving compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Program for the deployment of innovative technologies (ITD), improving the movement of goods and enhancing the safety of truck drivers, law enforcement and road inspectors.

Iteris Inspect, powered by CVIEW-Plus data services, aggregates and automates the roadside inspection process, reducing the time required to perform commercial vehicle inspections by up to 50%. Spending less time on the road improves the safety of drivers and law enforcement personnel. CVIEW-Plus data services further automate commercial vehicle selection processes, allowing compliant carriers to bypass weigh stations and law enforcement personnel to focus on training drivers and carriers to to reduce faults, for the benefit of the safety and mobility of the transport network in the broad sense.

In addition to reducing time spent on the road for carriers and drivers, Inspect facilitates compliance with FMCSA and Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance regulations, including electronic logging.
