The ministry organizes the second episode of the Teacher’s Spirit program
Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology has set up the second Teacher’s Spirit program which discussed soft skills supporting the implementation of the Freedom of Education program. learning.
“The program is a series of virtual learning to hone the soft skills of educators to support a student-centered method of learning in line with the freedom to learn program,” noted the Chief Teacher and Education Officer. ministry educators, Iwan Syahril. in his written statement received here on Tuesday.
The Teacher’s Spirit program was first launched in June 2021.
Syahril noted that the program is one of the proofs of successful collaboration between the government and the private entity.
“This collaboration and cooperation can be (continued) because the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and HP Indonesia believed that the development and improvement of Indonesia’s future generation was (influenced ) by digital transformation, as one of many factors,” he said.
Since 2005, HP has taken various initiatives to improve the quality of education, including implementing the first episode of the Teacher’s Spirit program last year, he said.
“Based on the data we have received, the Teacher’s Spirit program has helped improve the skills of some 160,000 teachers,” he said.
HP has also collaborated to lead an innovative transformation of learning in schools.
“Thus, we want to express our gratitude to HP for the valuable collaboration and cooperation,” he added.
The Innovative Transformation of Learning was a framework to prepare schools to embrace the changes of the 21st century.
The framework supported national schools with an effective and modern method of teaching and learning while taking into account creativity, collaboration, communication, compassion, critical thinking and computational logic ( 6C).
Syahril reminded teachers to use the Teacher’s Mind Program as a way to learn and improve.
On the same occasion, the Director of Early Childhood Education and Public Education of the General Directorate of Teachers and Educators of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Santi Ambarukmi, noted that the second Teacher’s Spirit program aimed to train Indonesian teachers to implement the freedom to learn program.
“There are three expectations of this program, namely to require teachers and educators to understand certain soft skills that support the implementation of the Freedom to Learn curriculum. is also about forcing teachers and educators to (understand) the use of technology in teaching and learning in the classroom and forcing teachers and educators to collaborate and inspire each other,” she remarked. .
